As we move into the coldest months of the year, Nightstop continues to be busy providing a much needed service, particularly as temperatures fall below zero. We have continued to see a rise in the number of referrals from the Teignbridge area, with the positive outcome that we can reach a wider audience of Young People across Devon.

Events Coming Up…

Nighstop Devon are bracing the cold and joining in with the festivities at Exeter Catherdral on Friday 18th December from 7.30pm onwards. A Night of a Thousand Voices aims to have stalls from all sections of society, as well as carol singing and festive spirit for the evening! Please come down and join in the Christmas Fun.

Dates for your New Year Diary…

WEDNESDAY 10th FEB After the grand success of it last year, In association with Young Devon, Nightstop are hosting a Pub Quiz and Celebrity Silent Auction. More information to follow in the New Year.

THURSDAY 25th MARCH We are planning a unique Fundraising Murder Mystery Event, hosted by The Imperial in Exeter. This sets to be an evening of surprise, mystery and a lot of fun! Details to follow.

We have just welcomed a new set of volunteers onto the Nightstop books, including Hosts, Drivers and Telephone Contact People. But we are always on the look out, so please get in touch if you want to volunteer in anyway for us.

Hilton in the Community Foundation

Nightstop Devon has been awarded £8,000 from the Hilton in the Community Foundation.

Hilton in the Community Foundation wants to help as many young people as possible. Under the banner Supporting Young People Worldwide the Foundation is dedicated to making a real difference to those most in need, wherever Hilton operates.

Nightstop - helping to prevent youth homelessness in Exeter, Teignbridge, East and Mid Devon.

Community Housing Aid is an independent voluntary organisation, which offers a variety of services to people in housing need, such as telephone housing advice and a Resettlement housing support service, as well as a rent deposit scheme.
