Exeter Big Sleep Out 2010

We have secured a safe venue in central Exeter, and are inviting people to come and sleep rough for a night with a cardboard box and sleeping bag.There is also a sleep IN option for those that don’t want to brave the elements, but also if it pours. It aims to be a great community event, and a brilliant way at raising awareness of youth homelessness in Devon. There will be food provided by the Ivy Project and hot drinks available throughout the night.
Where: UFC Southernhay Church, Dix’s Field, Exeter, Devon EX1 1QA
Time: 7pm-7am
As there will be limited spaces available, pre-registration is essential, So if you, or a team of colleagues wish to participate, please get in touch with me on the following email:

For safety purposes those that are under 16 must be accompanied by an appropriate adult. There is also a parental consent form enclosed within the resource pack for those under 16 also. We are really excited about the event, and hope that you can join us.

Nightstop Devon has been awarded £8,000 from the Hilton in the Community Foundation.
Hilton in the Community Foundation wants to help as many young people as possible. Under the banner Supporting Young People Worldwide the Foundation is dedicated to making a real difference to those most in need, wherever Hilton operates.
