Donating through your tax return
The Legatio FreeFile tax return service is a free of charge service that will help you complete your tax return form off-line and will also calculate your tax liability. If you choose, you will then be able to donate some or all of your tax return to Community Housing Aid and even Gift Aid it.
All donations go directly to Community Housing Aid and every penny will help us in our ongoing work to help reduce homelessness. By filing your tax return using this service, donations will then be processed and paid to us sooner by the Inland Revenue.
This scheme is a real opportunity for charities to benefit from a new source of tax efficient donations, please use it and help us to promote it by telling your family, friends and work colleagues. This service is provided free of charge by Legatio FreeFile, and Community Housing Aid is a beneficiary.
To donate to Community Housing Aid using the form, you will need our charity code Inland Revenue number (required for field 19A.3 on the form) which is XXXXXXX.
